Power Rankings Settle In

Western Canadian Baseball League teams are settling in for the stretch drive of the regular season.

As they do, teams are locking in their spots in the Power Rankings, brought to you by Access Storage and Sentinel Storage.

This edition of the polling shows the top four teams - the Saskatoon Berries, Okotoks Dawgs, Sylvan Lake Gulls and Lethbridge Bulls - maintaining their stranglehold atop the rankings. The Berries remain first overall in the WCBL with a 36-7 record, while the Dawgs are leading the West Division with 30 wins and 13 losses. The Gulls and Bulls are deadlocked at second in the West with identical 26-16 records.

The Medicine Hat Mavericks - the second-place team in the East Division at 26-17 - swapped places with the Regina Red Sox, who have lost three games in a row.

The Moose Jaw Miller Express are holding tight in seventh, while the Fort McMurray Giants are the biggest risers, moving up two spots into eighth. Both clubs are 5-5 over their last 10 games.

Losing ground were the Brooks Bombers and Energy City Cactus Rats, while the Swift Current 57's and Weyburn Beavers remain in the final two spots.
