The Western Canadian Baseball League has released the Players of the Week for Week 6 of the season (July 8th-14th).

Claiming Hitter of the Week was Regina Red Sox outfielder, Griffin Keller after he posted a .533 batting average, along with a double, five RBI's and an OPS of 1.163. In a game against the Yorkton Cardinals on July 14th, the Pilot Butte, Saskatchewan native �went 4-5 with a walk, a double and three RBI's which was his best outing of the week, eventually helping his cause of winning the prestigious award.

Hut Smith of the Yorkton Cardinals is this weeks Pitcher of the Week after tossing 11 1/3 innings, allowing only seven hits while posting three strikeouts and a WHIP of only 0.71. On July 13th, Hut started against the Moose Jaw Miller Express where he tossed a complete game, earning the victory for his club.
