Game of the Week Schedule Released
The Western Canadian Baseball League, in collaboration with the Wild TV Group of Companies, is excited to announce the 2024 WCBL Game of the Week schedule.
The broadcast schedule is filled with outstanding weekly matchups, rivalry games and specialty telecasts that include Father's Day, Canada Day, Independence Day, Heritage Day and WCBL All-Star Game & Home Run Derby coverage.

This is an historic moment for baseball fans in the region, and we can't wait to share the action, drama, and joy of the game with a wider audience. Over the course of the WCBL season, viewers can tune in for high-end baseball action every Thursday night on Wild TV's sister channels, RFD-TV and the Water Network. Here's a look at the schedule:

ABOUT THE WESTERN CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE (WCBL)
The WCBL is Canada's premier summer collegiate baseball league. The WCBL boasts a long-standing tradition of creating a showcase for top Canadian prospects, while at the same time offering American college players the opportunity to hone their skills in front of enthusiastic baseball fans in towns and cities throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan.
In 2024, the wood-bat league will welcome back the Edmonton Prospects as well as a new expansion franchise, the Saskatoon Berries. The Okotoks Dawgs are the defending WCBL champions, coming off back-to-back titles in 2022 and 2023.
The WCBL experienced record-breaking attendance in 2023, with 305,425 fans attending 275 regular-season games and another 40,370 spectators showing up to 16 postseason contests.
WCBL rosters include elite college players from across North America and league alumni have gone on to play in Major League Baseball (MLB) and in other professional baseball leagues.
