Lots of Movement in Power Rankings

Opening Week action has created some movers and shakers in the Western Canadian Baseball League's Power Rankings.

The preseason hierarchy of WCBL teams from Alberta and Saskatchewan has shifted significantly following the handful of games played by each club.

The top two spots are occupied by a pair of undefeated teams, the Sylvan Lake Gulls (4-0) and Medicine Hat Mavericks (5-0).

The Saskatoon Berries dropped one spot to third, despite a 3-1 start, and the Okotoks Dawgs are in fourth with a .500 record through their first four contests.

The Regina Red Sox, Brooks Bombers, Weyburn Beavers and Energy City Cactus Rats all moved up, while the Moose Jaw Miller Express, Lethbridge Bulls, Fort McMurray Giants and Swift Current 57's lost ground.

Brought to you by Sentinel Storage and Access Storage, the Power Rankings provide a weekly rundown of the teams that are flexing and the squads that are sliding across the WCBL.
