BrokerLink Insurance Presents Canada Day Festivities
The nation's premier summer collegiate baseball circuit is preparing to showcase the "Canadian" in Western Canadian Baseball League.
And the WCBL is excited to welcome BrokerLink Insurance to our dugout to help us celebrate Canada Day festivities at ballparks across Alberta and Saskatchewan on Tuesday, July 1st.
BrokerLink Insurance is proudly partnering with the WCBL as the official title sponsor for all Canada Day matchups in 2025, a special lineup of games featuring all 12 teams in action.
"BrokerLink is a strong investor and contributor to the communities we serve across Canada and we are proud to support the WCBL Canada Day games - a true marquee event that brings a lot of excitement to our local communities," said Grant Clarke, BrokerLink Vice President, Western Canada.
Mark Stiles, the Managing Director of Corporate Partnerships for the WCBL, added he's thrilled to have BrokerLink Insurance as the league-wide title sponsor for all the games on Canada Day.
"We have eight games in six different markets and it's no secret this is one of the biggest days of the year in the Western Canadian Baseball League. We expect over 20,000 fans on Canada Day and over 30,000 fans through the weekend, from Friday to Tuesday," said Stiles.
There are two doubleheaders on Canada Day, including a pair of contests between the Weyburn Beavers and Lethbridge Bulls at Spitz Stadium, and two games between the Energy City Cactus Rats and the Fort McMurray Giants at Legacy Dodge Field.
The Saskatoon Berries will travel to Currie Field for a matinee matchup against the Regina Red Sox, with action getting underway there at 2 p.m.
Evening games - many of which will be followed by fireworks for the fans - include the Brooks Bombers against the Okotoks Dawgs at Seaman Stadium; the Swift Current 57's at Ross Wells Park for a tilt against the Moose Jaw Miller Express; and the Medicine Hat Mavericks at Gulls Field to face the Sylvan Lake Gulls.
