Power Rankings Shuffle
The Saskatoon Berries have tightened their grasp on top spot in the Power Rankings.
With only three losses through their first 24 games, no home losses, and riding a six-game win streak, the Berries are the team to catch in both the standings and the Western Canadian Baseball League (WCBL) Power Rankings.
Hot on their heels are the Okotoks Dawgs, who have an 18-8 record and are in first place in the West Division. The Dawgs are 8-2 in their last 10 games and are in the midst of a five-game heater.
The Medicine Hat Mavericks - who are in second in the East Division - round out the top three spots, while the Lethbridge Bulls are holding tight in fourth.
A six-game win streak for the Sylvan Lake Gulls has boosted them into fifth place in the Power Rankings, up from seventh the previous week.
In the bottom half of the rankings, the Moose Jaw Miller Express sit in seventh, while the Energy City Cactus Rats are in eighth.
The Fort McMurray Giants edged up a spot to ninth place, while the Brooks Bombers jumped out of last spot into 10th. The Weyburn Beavers and Swift Current 57's round out the sophisticated weekly polling of movers and shakers around the league.
