Insightrix Named Official Research Partner
The Western Canadian Baseball League is excited to announce it has entered into a multi-faceted partnership with Insightrix.
The partnership will see Insightrix serve as the “Official Research Partner of the WCBL” and the sponsor of the league’s end-of-year awards.
In addition, the Saskatchewan-based market research firm has naming rights for the East Division, which has now officially been branded as the “WCBL East Division presented by Insightrix.”
WCBL Director of Corporate Sponsorships Noah Rolheiser described the agreement as one which will prove mutually beneficial for the Western Canadian Baseball League and Insightrix.
“We look forward to working with Insightrix and seeing what we can learn about our fans and how we can enhance the fan experience across the WCBL. We also appreciate the support from Insightrix in recognizing our award winners at the end of the season,” said Rolheiser.
Julie Ellis - Research Director of Innovation at Insightrix – also expressed enthusiasm about teaming up with the WCBL.

ABOUT THE WESTERN CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE (WCBL)
The WCBL is Canada’s premier summer collegiate baseball league. The 12-team WCBL boasts a long-standing tradition of creating a showcase for top Canadian prospects, while at the same time offering American college players the opportunity to hone their skills in front of enthusiastic baseball fans in towns and cities throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan.
The wood-bat league consists of two divisions, an all-Alberta West Division and an East Division comprised of five Saskatchewan squads and a franchise from Alberta.
WCBL rosters include elite college players from across North America and league alumni have gone on to play in Major League Baseball (MLB), at the World Baseball Classic (WBC) and in other professional baseball leagues.
All-Star Weekend takes place in Saskatoon this year, where the Berries will play host to the top players from around the WCBL on Saturday, July 18th and Sunday, July 19th.
The Regina Red Sox are the defending WCBL champions, coming off a thrilling three-game series victory over the Sylvan Lake Gulls in 2025.
