BrokerLink Renews Support for WCBL
BrokerLink Insurance is stepping up to the plate in a big way to support the Western Canadian Baseball League once again this year.
After partnering with the WCBL in 2025, BrokerLink has expanded its involvement with the league as the Official Canada Day Sponsor of the WCBL, the Official Heritage Day Sponsor of the WCBL, and a supporter of an Alberta-wide food bank drive this summer.
“BrokerLink Insurance is excited to partner with the WCBL again this year, as part of our ongoing commitment to support the communities where we live and work,” says Grant Clarke, Vice President, Western Canada.
“The WCBL provides opportunities across Alberta for people to come together in the spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie, and we’re proud to contribute to its success.”
One of the most popular days on the WCBL schedule is Canada Day, Wednesday, July 1, which will see all 12 teams in action across Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Heritage Day, Monday, August 3, will also feature matchups involving all WCBL teams, as they enter the final week of the regular season and prepare for the 2026 playoffs.
“Canada Day and Heritage Day are two of the biggest days on the WCBL calendar. We welcome thousands of fans to our ballparks and we are thrilled to have the support of BrokerLink for these special occasions,” said Noah Rolheiser, director of corporate sponsorships for the WCBL.
“Watch for details about how to contribute to our upcoming food bank drives that will take place at WCBL parks across Alberta in the coming weeks,” Clarke adds.
“We’re counting on the support of the fans to help us show how generosity through giving can make a real difference.”

ABOUT THE WESTERN CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE (WCBL)
The WCBL is Canada’s premier summer collegiate baseball league. The 12-team WCBL boasts a long-standing tradition of creating a showcase for top Canadian prospects, while at the same time offering American college players the opportunity to hone their skills in front of enthusiastic baseball fans in towns and cities throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan.
The wood-bat league consists of two divisions, an all-Alberta West Division and an East Division comprised of five Saskatchewan squads and a franchise from Alberta.
WCBL rosters include elite college players from across North America and league alumni have gone on to play in Major League Baseball (MLB), at the World Baseball Classic (WBC) and in other professional baseball leagues.
All-Star Weekend takes place in Saskatoon this year, where the Berries will play host to the top players from around the WCBL on Saturday, July 18th and Sunday, July 19th.
The Regina Red Sox are the defending WCBL champions, coming off a thrilling three-game series victory over the Sylvan Lake Gulls in 2025.
