Hats off to Carnduff.

The host of the second annual Rural Roots Baseball Classic - the first such Western Canadian Baseball League (WCBL) event in Saskatchewan - pulled off a fantastic showcase of the sport that recognized the history of the game while celebrating the area's ongoing love affair with baseball.

Carnduff Ball Park provided the venue for a WCBL opening weekend clash between the Saskatoon Berries and the Weyburn Beavers on May 29th, and more than 600 fans showed up to check it out.
