Season Ending Power Rankings

The top spots have been claimed, but it's time for a champion to emerge.

As the Western Canadian Baseball League (WCBL) regular season wraps up, the Moose Jaw Miller Express (40-14) have tightened their grip on first place in the East Division, while the Okotoks Dawgs (38-14) have clinched the West Division title.

Those two squads headline the final edition of the 2026 FortisAlberta Power Rankings, with the Millers in first, followed by the Dawgs in second place. Moose Jaw heads down the stretch with an 8-2 record in their last 10 games, while the Dawgs possess the best run differential (plus 199) in the league.

Moving up to third overall in the Power Rankings are the 36-18 Sylvan Lake Gulls, and the 37-17 Saskatoon Berries slipped to fourth spot.

The Lethbridge Bulls (30-22) remain in fifth while the Regina Red Sox (24-29) stay in sixth place. Both teams are in third place in their respective divisions.

Up one position to seventh in the Power Rankings are the 22-32 Medicine Hat Mavericks, who have gone 4-6 over their last 10 contests.

Climbing two places into eighth overall are the Energy City Cactus Rats (21-28), who have won three straight games.

Down two spots are the 20-33 Weyburn Beavers, who are in ninth as they compete for the final postseason berth in the East Division.

The Swift Current 57's, who have posted a .500 record over their last 10 games, sit in 10th.

Closing out the Power Rankings are the 11th place Brooks Bombers, who climbed a spot from last week and the Fort McMurray Giants in 12th.

The final day of the regular season takes place on Wednesday, Aug. 5th and the WCBL Postseason gets underway on Friday, Aug. 7th.
